Place an On Demand Call
On-Demand OPI and VRI calls can be placed within the “On demand” tab located at the bottom-center of the Unified mobile app.
From here, select either the audio or video option, the target language, and the service type needed. Then, tap the green “Call” button at the bottom of the screen.
The search for an interpreter will begin and once connected, the call will show both participants (Interpreter on the top, Requestor on the bottom) as well as the call duration, service type, and the to/from languages on the call connected screen.
While in a call, you can select the audio device you would like to use directly from the call screen. Whether using the earpiece, phone speaker, or a Bluetooth headset, switching between these devices is quick and simple.
To swap the audio device, tap the audio icon located to the right of the red End Call button. Toggle between these options to find the audio type that you prefer to use.
To temporarily mute yourself on the call, tap the microphone icon on the bottom left of the call screen.
